Beautiful blesbok skull, real bone. This specimen is approximately 23 inches from tip of horn to nose of skull; it is approximately 11 1/2 inches from top of skull to nose of skull.

The blesbok is an antelope endemic to South Africa. A characteristic of the blesbok is the prominent white blaze on the face and a horizontal brown strip which divides this blaze above the eyes. Both sexes carry horns, ringed almost to the tip. Female horns are slightly more slender. Blesbok can be easily differentiated from other antelopes because of their distinct white face and forehead.
