Our cane toad bow ties are a customer favorite, and make for a fun, and unique gift.  Our female customers often wear them as headbands!

These bow ties are made from the leather and the head of a Cane Toad (Rhinella marina).  The cane toad is native to many parts of Central and South America, but has been introduced on many islands throughout the world.  It is used in many areas as a pest control, and derives its name from its use against the Cane Beetle.  The toad is an incredibly opportunistic eater (of both dead and living matter), and a prolific breeder and is now itself considered a pest in the areas where it was introduced.

Bow tie is approximately 4″ long, the head is approximately 2″ long x approximately 1.5″ wide.

black, lime green, natural, yellow, blue, red, purple, orange, gold and silver.

The gold and silver bow ties are 34.00 each and the rest of the colors are 29.00 each.
