Description
Absolutely fascinating saw tooth leaf hopper, spread and mounted in a black, wooden frame. Frame is approximately 8 inches long and 6 inches tall.
Leaf hoppers have piercing/sucking mouth parts that enable them to feed on plant sap. A leaf hopper’s diet consists of sap from a wide variety of plants. Leaf hoppers are mainly herbivores, but some are known to eat smaller insects, such as aphids, on occasion.
