Description
Lovely, spotted dove skeleton, real bone. Approximate dimensions: 4 1/4 inches high and 1 7/8 inches wide.
Spotted doves are natives of tropical southern Asia, and are most recognizable by the black patch and white spots at the back of their neck. Males and females have similar plumage. The spotted dove is a small, somewhat long-tailed pigeon. The species has been introduced to many parts of the world and feral populations have become established.
