Description
Warthogs are wild animals that belong to the swine family and live in open and semi-open habitats in sub-Saharan Africa. Warthogs are related to pigs, boars, and hogs. They may not be beautiful creatures, but they are known for their exceptional strength, intelligence, and flexibility. Warthogs have a thick growth of skin on their face, which looks like warts. These patches often act as protection when male warthogs fight during the mating season. Like other pig species, they are fleshy, with long nostrils at the end of their snout.
Our warthog skull is approximately 14 inches long, 10 inches at its widest point and 7 1/2 inches tall.
